This covid pandemic has affected several aspects of life, including education in the IPS tadris department of IAIN PONOROGO batch 2020. Educational institutions require the process of learning activities to be carried out remotely, namely so that students carry out teaching and learning activities even though students are at home. In this case, educators must shape learning through the use of online media. In addition, this distance learning process can accommodate the teaching and learning needs of students majoring in Tadris IPS IAIN PONOROGO, to develop their skills even though it is very difficult to develop student skills. The purpose of this research is to review the problems that occur in distance learning in the Social Sciences Department of IAIN PONOROGO class of 2020 and find solutions in dealing with the obstacles that have occurred in the learning. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method which is generally in the form of data or information, using interview and observation techniques. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat: (1) pola pembelajaran <em>mind mapping </em>pada pembelajaran SPI di IAIN Ponorogo, (2) situasi belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran SPI di IAIN Ponorogo, (3) Bagaimana peran pendidik selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Pendekatan ini ditunjang menggunakan metode studi kasus yang berarti mengkaji secara mendalam dan dalam tenggang waktu cukup. Sumber data yang digunakan yaitu dosen mata kuliah Sejarah Peradaban Islam, serta beberapa sampel dari teman mahasiswa Tadris IPS IAIN Ponorogo. Sumber data diambil dengan teknik wawancara. Analisis data yang dipakai dari pengumpulan data yang diperoleh berikutnya direduksi, disaring, disajikan dan ditarik kesimpulannya. Penelitian memberikan hasil bahwa, (1) pola pembelajaran yang cukup mudah diikuti sehingga mampu dijalankan oleh semua mahasiswa. Dengan model <em>mind mapping </em>menuntut mahasiswa untuk membaca materi terlebih dahulu. Sehingga hasil yang didapatkan mampu menghadirkan data yang langsung menafsirkan cabang-cabang pikiran perancang. (2) Situasi belajar yang difasilitasi oleh pendidik kemudian dipimpin oleh mahasiswa mampu menciptakan situasi belajar yang membuat mahasiswa sangat berperan dalam proses pembelajaran, dapat menambah referensi metode pembelajaran, meningkat pengetahuan dalam menganalisis peristiwa, dan pemahaman materi dapat optimal. This study aims to reveal how to implement moral creed learning towards the formation or trainging of students’ character faced by educators, and descriptions of planning, applying and evaluating conflicts faced by moral creed educators. Data collection uses qualitative methods, this technique is used to collect data from observations and interviews. The conclusion of the study shows that the implementation of character education in the planning of moral aqidah subjects still characterizes learning preparation and has not distributed character learning preparation, implementation in the application is still conventional, character education learning in each learning process still leads to the same pattern between early learning and so on. Furthermore, even the application of character cultivation is not in accordance with the material taught by the moral aqidah educators. Educational technology can change the learning and teaching process in various school institutions, both elementary and middle level (SMA). Educational technology can make it possible to change students in learning both in various tasks or materials that they may not be able to see directly by the teacher. Technology is also a practice and development, utilization, and evaluation in the learning process. By incorporating educational technology into learning, students will find it easier to do school assignments. Educators can provide technology for students to provide learning experiences to students that may be able to realize student desires. The use of educational technology must be adapted to educational goals that involve the use of technology that can change the role of educators and students in improving thinking skills and solving problems. Educational technology really supports the teaching and learning process, because attractive learning media is a means to improve the quality of education. Educational technology has good facilities and educational media can improve the quality of education, make learning more efficient, effective and get maximum results from the teaching and learning process. There are 2 methods used in this case study, namely through interviews with several parents and writers using several types of writing from diaries or online news. The results show that the role of parents in general is as a motivator, educator, carer, and supervisor. In particular, the roles of parents that appear are: motivating to build children's learning enthusiasm, facilitating children's needs, supervising children to keep learning optimally, giving an award so that children do not get bored. The results of the research are also about obstacles and strategies to overcome them, the obstacles are: parents cannot optimally accompany their children because they have to work, lack of parental knowledge of the material, lack of parental knowledge of gadgets. Not all parents can overcome these obstacles, because it takes a long time for parents to understand it.
